Christchurch Tram & Tram Restaurant

Christchurch is home to a beautifully restored heritage Tram and a Tram Restaurant. This is a great way to take in the sights that Christchurch offers plus you can get on and off at any of the 17 stops throughout the day! The Tram Restaurant departs at 7pm daily and bookings are essential.

Punting on the Avon

Punting on the Avon is a locals favourite. Choose from a Park departure for a leisurely trip through the botanic gardens or a City departure which takes you through the heart of the city. You could even do both if you had the time!

Christchurch Gondola

The Christchurch Gondola is located on the Port Hills overlooking the city. Take advantage of the $10 shuttle from the city and enjoy the journey to the base of the Gondola. Jump in a cable car and take in the beauty of the Canterbury Plains – remember your camera! Once you get to the top you’ll get to experience the Time Tunnel Ride involving the history of the region then enjoy a meal in the Red Rock Cafe.
